(More customer reviews)Aluminum comes in different grades, such as the soft, flexible kind used to make aluminum foil for packaging, or the strong, tough aluminum alloys intended for industrial hardware parts. This "Diane Aluminum Comb" is made of the wrong type of aluminum. It is soft and bendable and therefore, it feels less secure and less sturdy in my hand than even a cheap plastic comb. This is a pity, since the actual design of the comb is nice - if only they would have used a better grade of aluminum. My recommendation: Do not buy this product.

(More customer reviews)I have thick, bushy hair about 9"-10" long. I need a good pick that will keep my hair bushy, and one that is strong enough to survive untangling it. I've tried five or six different types, all of which cost more than this. None of them worked as well for me. I broke several. This cheap, plastic pick worked batter than any other I've tried. Its also strong enough to last a lifetime.

(More customer reviews)The comb I received was not the item pictured. The real McCoy has the ACE name in the center of the comb. The item I received was a cheaper item made of plastic, not the traditional ACE hard rubber. The ACE name was near the left edge of the comb. I was ripped off. You will be too, since internet pictures of the comb still show the ACE logo on the center of the comb, but what you'll get is the cheaper knock off with the logo to the left. (More customer reviews)I've used the Weleda wooden detangling comb for years and I liked the shape of this one. Boy am I sorry I bought this one instead! It's over $20 and the points are so sharp that they can draw blood from your scalp if you're not careful. What a pity. Not recommended!

I would have given it five stars if the tines were a little closer together, but it still does a good job organizing my facial hair for precision cutting and maintenance. And I know some people have even thicker facial hair - so if yours is moderately thick to thick, this is a good piece for you. Beautiful little piece of work. Look and feel remind me of a comb my father had when I was very young.
