(More customer reviews)First of all the safety guard thingy won't stay still so I can't even use it. I think it's defective. I still use it though because the baby likes it, I just have to be right there watching to make sure he doesn't gag himself which surprisingly he hasn't done. I just place it in his hands up near the top so he gets a good hold and only has a short part to put in his mouth. The toothbrush is too sharp! He makes a face when I give it to him so I don't even use it. Upon closer inspection, it sure is sharp! Not soft at all, not sure why they made it so tough. I'm a huge green sprouts fan but not of this set, needs some work. The Noli's look better, think I'll try those next.

(More customer reviews)This product is just "ok". The bristles are nice and soft, but if your baby has a full head of hair like mine, the bristles only really brush the top layer of hair. Also, the bristles fall out very easily. It's nice for now, but we'll have to invest in a different brush once she gets bigger. It is very gentle for the soft spot on the head.

The instructions say to "Wash before initial use. Wash in warm water using mild liquid soap." When I did that, the brush absorbed water through the bristle holes, became waterstained, and cracked.
The bristle holes are evidently not sealed during manufacture (should be done before or while the bristles are being glued in).
Amazon sent a replacement. The replacement had the same problem.

The brush has soft bristles for sensitive baby scalps and the comb has rounded bristles. The green on the ears is a nice color and the mirror/head base that the comb and brush sit in is simply adorable and larger than I thought it would be. This item will look great on the baby's dresser.

(More customer reviews)I was impressed by how soft the brush bristles were. Then when I used the comb to clean it like the package suggested the brush bristles came out all to easy. I haven't had a chance to use it on our baby yet but the grip was perfect for our toddler and for me. My only disappointment was that the bristles of the brush keep falling out (about 3-10) each use. But even with the bristles coming loose I would buy again, I like how soft it is and that it is wood and not plastic like most sets are.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this and didn't pay attention to the "Colors may vary" in the description, so I was expecting green. We received pink. This being for a boy, it makes me a little sad, but other than color, I have no other qualms with this product. The packaging was perfectly in tact, the product has good sized handles with the rubber grips - making them comfortable in an adult's hand. The brush's bristles are soft and plentiful, and the comb has on every other tooth, a tiny round ball which is very smooth so as to not scrape or scratch our son's scalp.
It would have been nice to be given the power to decide the color.

The comb is really nice; the white handle acts as a rubber grip for easy use. The teeth are clear and flexible; no worries of little teeth breaking off in baby's full head of hair.
The brush is a little awkward to hold, due to the short handle. Again, the white handle is very grip-able. The bristles are very soft and smooth.
It's not a "cutesy" set, but it's very functionable.
