I loved how the handle was so fat which discouraged them from chewing on that end and gagging like they would do with their infant tooth brush. However, the bristles on the toddler tooth brush are just too stiff, and even caused some light bleeding on the gums of one of my sons. After that I bought a $2 toddler toothbrush from Target which had much softer bristles.

It came in pink, which was a little annoying for a boy, but it doesn't make it any less of a good brush. He loves to let me brush his teeth and when I'm done I let him play with it and chew on the nobby gum cleaner end. I just really with this seller would let you -pick- a color, it's very annoying to spend money on something and have no control over what you're really getting.

I've been giving him a toddler toothbrush and trying to brush his front teeth is nearly impossible, we wrestle and he cries. Although, he will chew on it for his back teeth.
From the moment I gave him this brush, he took to it and spent his whole bathtime chewing on it. He didn't want to give it up! Now he has more teeth coming in, so I'm going to purchase another one for him to chew on during the day.

The instructions say to "Wash before initial use. Wash in warm water using mild liquid soap." When I did that, the brush absorbed water through the bristle holes, became waterstained, and cracked.
The bristle holes are evidently not sealed during manufacture (should be done before or while the bristles are being glued in).
Amazon sent a replacement. The replacement had the same problem.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this and didn't pay attention to the "Colors may vary" in the description, so I was expecting green. We received pink. This being for a boy, it makes me a little sad, but other than color, I have no other qualms with this product. The packaging was perfectly in tact, the product has good sized handles with the rubber grips - making them comfortable in an adult's hand. The brush's bristles are soft and plentiful, and the comb has on every other tooth, a tiny round ball which is very smooth so as to not scrape or scratch our son's scalp.
It would have been nice to be given the power to decide the color.
