(More customer reviews)I bought this unit a little over a year ago and used it with other massage units around the body. I actually did not feel much of anything from this unit. It does not seem to be powerful enough to really massage the scalp. The only thing I got from this unit was a circle of little red bumps around the front of my head that take about an our to disappear where one of the massage sensors go.

(More customer reviews)The brush we received is NOT what is pictured. The handle of the brush we received is clearly designed as a personal massager and is a rather cheap plastic creation. Very misleading description! The brush does do the basic head massage and brushing, but seems to be intended as a discreet version of a personal massager. We did try out the brush -- it does give good sensations when working on the scalp and may make it easier to get knots out of longer hair. However, turning the vibrating function on and off made me feel concerned that the brush is going to break relatively quickly
The "bonus" copper head scalp massager came with straight legs. We found it very tricky to get it to the correct angles.
This purchase taught me to look VERY carefully at the product description page to see which company actually provides the product. I did not see the company name until after I had ordered the product -- and seeing the name gave me a premonition of what we actually received. I returned to the descriptive page and found the company name with a keyword search, but it was certainly not featured clearly and was not something I would normally have noticed (before this!!)
Bottom line: Don't fully believe the pictures, do suspect when you see the name of the source company (as opposed to the manufacturer).

(More customer reviews)I ordered two of this product and both of them was recieved damaged. I was able to make one working unit out of the two broken ones. It would be very easy to break when used. The vibrating unit is held onto the brush head with a super small screw which could break or strip out very easy.

Scalp Massager (Colors May Vary) Review

(More customer reviews)I am something of a connoisseur of scalp scratchers. I've bought the solid copper ones (happy company, head trip) and the vibrating ones. Those don't really do the trick for me. I light that light, tingly feeling like something is crawling all over my head. The other scratchers I have tried have wires or 'fingers' that are just too thick and/or too rigid. With most, the wires are designed in such a way that I'd have to bend them in just the right way or could come close to hurting myself.
This one has thin, flexible, stainless wires with small plastic nibs at the tips. The wires are not adjustable, but it doesn't matter. I haven't wanted to adjust them. I think this item is simply wonderful; I purchased one at Bed Bath And Beyond and gave it away as a gift (stupid!), then I couldn't find another until I came here to Amazon (yay!).
Note: Unlike the picture, the stem or handle is a textured silver metal, not copper. Doesn't matter to me, though. Feels the same. Awesome.

(More customer reviews)Goody used to make a product like this. I lost my last one and emailed to see if they still made it and to find out where to obtain one. They do still make them but are only sold in a few places. They passed the info on and sent a free one along. The product number is 01629. The item shown is nice, a bit stiffer than the goody product ( I tried both), but shipping is very high. The goody distributor will send as many as you want for ten bucks. I believe the per item cost is one seventy nine.

(More customer reviews)This shampoo scalp massage brush works great. Finger ring holder works flawlessly compared to others who have open ended rings that slip of your fingers. I got this one to replace one I bought from a barber years ago and its pretty similar in quality. The only difference is that the bristles on this one was a little shorter than the one I had. I use one for shampoo scalp massaging in the shower and another one to use as a hair brush. Again, this one was great and the vendor was kind enough to answer my email prior to me buying this item from them. I highly recommend this product and this vendor too.

Massage Hair Brush "As seen on TV" Review

(More customer reviews)This brush is not great but ok. The bad is that the brush is pretty cheaply made and the bristles are pretty stiff with some off angle. The best part about the brush is its vibrating motor. Very powerful. I had a terrific message brush I bought a few years ago and it started falling apart. I wish this was more like that one. I suppose for the price its not too bad but I really don't see too many other available options out there.
