(More customer reviews)As a recent convert to wet shaving, I started out with a boar brush, which wasn't a very good experience. While I liked using the double edge safety razor (an old gillette purchased at an auction), the brush wasn't living up to the wet shaving hype. Badger brushes, supposedly the one essential thing, seemed too expensive. Then I came across this little beauty, and my shaving experience changed. It's superb, and I will never use anything but a badger brush again. This particular model keeps its hair, retains moisture well, is soft on the face, and in general is an excellent brush. The price makes it phenomenal. The stand is cheap plastic, but I didn't buy it for the stand. I'd buy this brush again in a heartbeat.
