(More customer reviews)I bought this brush to use for hair loss after seeing the Today Show where it was featured in March 2007. As there were a few companies selling laser combs I checked with a couple of dermatologists to ask their recommendations. Several said that laser combs do help regrow hair on the top of the head. Most would not recommend any particular brand so the consumer is on his own. I finally bought the Sunetics on the advice of a local dermatologist.
There are several drawbacks with the Sunetics comb however. One is that while it has lasers, it is not very well made or sturdy and the teeth on mine are falling out after just a few months use despite my being careful with it. Also, you have to use the combs every other day to get results. Because there is only one row of lasers you have to use it for half. Other combs seem to be much sturdier and have two rows of lasers so you only have to use them for ten to fifteen minutes instead of half an hour. At this point I do not know if Sunetics will replace my comb.[ASIN:B000OZFYI4 Laser Brush Sunetics comb]]
I paid $395 for mine and it is now selling for $289. While other brands may cost more they may be worth it. It will probably take five to six months before you see any results, but you will definitely start to notice a difference. I saw no result with Rogaine.
