(More customer reviews)Orajel Plaque Revealing Pre-brush Gel is similar in concept to those tablets we used to get in school. You know, the ones we chew and it was supposed to show where we've missed brushing. I thought this was a good idea, especially in gel form; because I could never get that tablet color out from the deep grooves of my molars not matter how much I brushed.
The gel is sold next to the toddler toothpaste in the familiar bear box. Of course, I thought it would be great for my then toddler and preschool children to learn how to brush. Put it on and they brush like they usually do. When they're done, we're supposed to see how much blue is left on their teeth.
How wrong I was. I didn't anticipate the mess. Blue everywhere. We used it once, just enough so that I could see it work and never used it again; because I really didn't want to see if it could come out of clothing. I'm guessing it would come out, but I don't want to know.
This really is too messy for young children, the age group it appears targeted for. Older children will balk at having to use something with a baby bear on the box sold next to toddler toothpaste.
Oh, and yes, it works.
