(More customer reviews)Consumer Reports didn't rate Janie highly because it didn't do well at removing certain stains -- I can't remember exactly, but they were things like ketchup or blueberries. OK, maybe it doesn't do those stains, but the manufacturer never claimed it did. It does do a fantastic job at removing grease stains -- the kind of thing I get on my ties and shirts at least once every two weeks. Even if you don't notice a stain until after you've washed the garment, Janie will usually get it out. Also, a stick will last decades. It's great.
