Viatek FurAway PetVAC Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Hands down the worst product I've ever purchased off of Amazon.
When looking at all the parts that ship with it, it's no surprise the thing never worked for me, considering how cheaply made it is. I felt like it would break just holding it. After putting new batteries in and turning it on (which wasn't as straight forward as one might think), the thing just had a low buzz and there was absolutely no air suction. OK, not a big deal, I've bought things before that are broken, so I figured I'd return it to get a new one...one that actually works. But...
The return policy? What a joke. 30 days from date of purchase, even though it took them 2 weeks to ship (which leaves me...2 weeks to return it). And if you bought it for a silly Christmas present for someone (like I did), then if you wait longer than 2 weeks to give it to them and for them to figure out it's broken, it's too late to return it. Plus, they charge a 20% "restocking fee", and don't reimburse you for shipping under any circumstances. So for me, was it worth it to pay the $2 restocking fee and $6 to ship it back to them? Not on something this cheaply made, because what's to say the next one will work? Not worth an extra $8, and certainly not worth my time.
In fact the product is so bad I'm laughing at myself for taking the time to review this earnestly, when I'm just going to throw the piece of junk away. Hopefully you don't make the same mistake.
Lesson learned: don't buy a garbage "As Seen on TV!" product off an infomercial that happens to air on tv in the bar at 2 am after you've had several drinks. Yeah, I know, my own damn fault for even thinking this was a good idea. Sorry mom, maybe next year I'll get you a real present.
