(More customer reviews)You can actually find cheaper prices for Green Magma than this, but if you use this daily or regularly--as I do--it's handy to have the economy size. Sometimes, buying the 5.3 ounce size times two comes out cheaper (some vendors have the 5.3 ounce size for 13 bucks), as long as the shipping doesn't eat up all the savings.
Now, the product: Great. I like to use this pre-workouts, along with Berry Splash and a protein mix (not mixed together, separately) in order to get the phytonutrients, potassium, and carbs/protein mix that suits me best. This also is terrific boosted with unsweetened green tea leaf powder. The two flavors mix perfectly. (I use Yamamotoyama unsweetened green tea powder, which I get here from amazon.)
Of all the green drinks, Green Magma tastes the best. It actually mixes well in a shaker cup and tastes very green and fresh for a powdered mix. And mild. It's pleasant (as opposed to the gag-arrific wheat grass and other green mixes I've tried.)
I trust in the quality of this product, and I find it has a nice calming effect on my reflux-prone digestive system.

Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At Home MicroDermabrasion System Review

(More customer reviews)I was at Target last weekend looking at this product. There was a woman right next to me that noticed me putting it back on the shelf and walking away. She stopped me and told me that she was using it and it worked really well. She had a great deal of discoloration on her face - probably sun damage (I wish now I had asked). But I noticed much of it was peeling off, revealing smooth, pink skin. She told me that was a direct result of the micro-dermabrasion kit. With every use, she could see more and more of the discoloration fading. She went on and on about how wonderful this was and eventually her husband came looking for her. When he overheard her talking to me, he chimed in and also had many great things to say about it. He assured me he had seen a remarkable improvement in his wife's skin since she started using it.
So I decided it was worth a try. I don't have sun damage or hardly any wrinkles yet, but I do have a lot of red and pink scars or marks left behind from acne. Not pitting, just discoloration. I was hoping this system would help diminish the appearance of these marks.
Well, I'm happy to report that it does. I've used it six times now and I have seen those marks fade dramatically. Yippee!!!
However, I feel obliged to mention that I've not followed the directions to a T. I had been using Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle/Anti-Blemish cream for quite some time with very positive results. This cream contains Retinal and Salicylic Acid. The directions for the Micro-Dermabrasion kit said that you should discontinue use of these products while using it. Well, I couldn't bear the thought of parting with this miracle cream since it had done so much for me, so I decided to try using it the morning after the micro-dermabrasion and it didn't bother me. So the next night I put it on right after I was finished and it still didn't bother me. So I've kept using Retinal and Salicylic Acid - against their advice, but it's been working really well for me. But I need to mention that I do not have sensitive skin at all. In fact, I've continue using Proactiv cleanser in the shower, which has a very similar texture as the Micro Dermabrasion cream so it exfoliates much the same way. In addition, it contains Benzoyl Peroxide. And yet my skin still has not had an adverse reaction. Quite the opposite in fact. Furthermore, I've used the micro-dermabrasion kit more often than recommended. The first two nights I used it as directed. But on days three and four, I used it in the morning as well as before bed. I can't help but think that continued use of my favorite products in addition to the micro-dermabrasion twice a day has been the reason why I've seen such dramatic improvement in my skin's texture and appearance. My skin hasn't looked this good since before I hit puberty - and I'm a ripe 38 years now!
But I strongly recommend following the directions from Neutrgena initially. Wait and see how your skin reacts and ease into a more aggressive skin-care routine gradually so you can see how much your own skin can withstand. Good luck!

(More customer reviews)A lot of people don't know about this magnesium stuff. It has been said that 61% of the US population does not meet the US RDA for levels of magnesium. Also consistent with this, is data from the 2005-2006 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), which indicates that in about 60% of all adults, the usual magnesium intakes from food do not meet the EAR.
But so what if you aren't getting enough of this stuff? Well, epidemiological studies have indicated that a low magnesium status is associated with numerous pathological conditions, some of which include atherosclerosis, hypertension, osteoporosis, diabetes mellitus, and some cancers (colon, breast). If that's not enough, it's even been suggested that magnesium deficiency results in an inflammatory response.
Okay, I guess we could all use a little more of this stuff, because not getting enough could cause us some pretty bad problems. So all we need to do is just eat a little more food with magnesium in it, right? Well not so fast. Apparently magnesium is absorbed orally at about 30% bioavailability. While you may not know what "bioavailability" is, most know 30% doesn't sound good.
Well, from what I know, bioavailability is used to describe how much of something actually reaches your systemic circulation. For instance, a medication that you get administered intravenously (through your veins via an IV), has a bioavailability of 100%. This means that 100% of the medication is getting distributed throughout your body (pharmacist reviewers please join in).
However, when a medication is administered via other routes (such as orally), its bioavailability decreases (due to factors such as incomplete absorption).
Okay, back to magnesium. Since it's bioavailability is 30% when taken orally-this means that out of any amount of magnesium you eat, only about 30% is getting to your systemic circulation-which is not very good or an efficient way to get your magnesium. And that's the whole idea behind this product, spray on magnesium oil. It's suppose to be a better way of delivering magnesium to your body, to combat the magnesium deficiencies that surveys are pointing out a a lot of people have. Spraying on magnesium also avoids any stomach discomfort you have from taking Mg pills.
As far as this particular product, its reasonably priced for the amount you get. Some people have reported a stinging or burning sensation when applied, so just be aware of that. As always, I'd suggest checking with your doctor before using it just to be safe. All-in-all, a very promising treatment, magnesium spray, so check into it!
