(More customer reviews)I combed my fine, thin hair up from the scalp and it did give some body and some nice fullness to my hair. It didn't do much for the extreme frizziness where I slept on it wet (it might have if I'd used any product) but it made the rest noticeably shiny, smooth and full. Almost like a shampoo ad!

Vidal Sassoon VS540 1875-Watt Styler Dryer Review

(More customer reviews)I needed to replace my 1600 watt with attachments and found the 1875 is the new kid on the block. I liked the 1600 much better--but can't find one any place. The 1875 easily overheats on high and then shuts itself off. This happens almost everytime I dry my hair with it. Unfortunately, the medium setting doesn't give enough heat to properly dry my hair or I'd just keep it on that setting thoughout the drying process.

(More customer reviews)My sister and I LOVE this. We both have fine, thin, straight, shoulder length hair and it works great for us, It does not tangle my hair. It gives it a nice smooth finish. It adds volume and body. It makes "curves" not curls.If I wanted a distinct curl I would use a curling iron. This is the closest result I can get to a stylist blow drying my hair with a brush. Besides, it's great for travel because you only have to pack one thing as opposed to hair dryer and curling iron. It is cool to the touch and can be immediately put away.

With these 'Salon Edition' hot air brushes (which are very hard to find) I blow my hair roots with the hair dryer until my hair is just alittle damp and then use the hot air brush to give it body. (More customer reviews)Don't be cheap dish out the extra $5 and get something that is going to get the job done right.
This is very cheap looking, but it is cheap so how can i complain. I don't even know if I can call the material it is made out of plastic.
It doesn't heat up past luke warm. I like my curling iron to get so hot I can't touch it, this one is so warm I can just leave my finger on it without getting burned.
I'm pretty sure if I got any hotter than it already does the material it is made of would melt.
The barrel itself is very short. It's like a travel/mini iron.
At it's best this is just a brush with a cord on it.
I gave it two stars because "you get what you pay for"
Maybe this is why I am the only one to give this product a review everybody else knew better.

I decided to try this product and was pleased with the results. It does hold the hair in place while drying so this eliminates blow drying then curling. The release button works great for tangle free. If there is anything I would like to change perhaps I would like for the temperature to get a little hotter. My hair is thick and course so I have to hold in position for a long time to dry and control the curl. But I would recommend this product to anyone looking for curl control as well as a styling tool. It is light weight and easy to handle. Good quality

(More customer reviews)I stick with something when it works, and this styling wand does that. My hair's kinda funny--it has a mind of its own, but it cooperates nicely with Vidal. I found the prior model of this hot air brush almost a decade ago and have been using them ever since.
I used the brush while my hair was short, and I use it still now that it's long. My hair is rather coarse and is a mix of curly and straight with lots of cowlicks. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair, the brush must be doing something right! It's good for smoothing down the frizzies and getting all the ends going in the right direction after a shampoo, and it's good for touch-ups in between. And is so much easier than hot curlers or the blow-dryer/roll brush combination method.
Usually I allow my hair to air dry until it's just damp and then finish it with the hot air brush, but in a hurry, I blow it nearly dry and then use the brush. With just a trace of dampness, my hair responds beautifully--it just gives up and behaves itself like an obedient child. If I could I'd post a before-and-after picture here to show the marked difference this styler makes.
The last time I walked into the beauty salon for a trim, my hairdresser looked up and exclaimed, "My god, look at you! You're beautiful--your hair is just glorious!" I had washed and styled it just before my appointment.
When my local merchant stopped selling Vidal Sasson's Tangle-Free Hot Air Brush, I panicked and bought four more from Amazon just to have on hand in case the product was discontinued!
I keep one in my suitcase, on in our camper and one in each bathroom. Can't recommend it highly enough!
