(More customer reviews)I have tried both the Instyler and the Celebrity Styler.
Here are the pros & cons of the Celebrity Styler, compared to the Instyler:
PROS:
1) Insulated rubber-ish grip feels cooler and more comfortable in your hand.
2) Wider range of adjustable temperature settings with LCD display.
3) Less expensive than the Instyler.
4) Celebrity Styler has a more sturdier build, and does not feel flimsy the way Instyler does.
5) Quieter motor.
6) Ability to turn the rotating feature on or off.
7) Very cute pink/black design. :3
CONS (more like fixable cons):
1) Turned itself off for seemingly no reason, but then found out that it only happens when either my hair is getting stuck, or if the iron is not heated up all the way. So, I just comb/brush my hair better before using, and wait until the iron is done heating up before using it. Also, if you are really having trouble with your hair getting stuck, you can turn the rotating feature off for a quick run through of your hair, then turn the rotating back on for a finishing polish.
2) Similar to above, my hair was getting stuck. But, by brushing my hair better before using the iron, and taking smaller sections (about 1 inch), this isn't a problem anymore!
3) I thought maybe the iron wasn't as hot as the Instyler... but it heats up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, so I must be delusional, because that's hot!So... all in all... the pros FAR outweigh the cons!
If I need to buy another rotating iron... I'm buying this one!

It didn't do much for the extreme frizziness where I slept on it wet (it might have if I'd used any product) but it made the rest noticeably shiny, smooth and full. Almost like a shampoo ad!

Vidal Sassoon VS540 1875-Watt Styler Dryer Review

(More customer reviews)I needed to replace my 1600 watt with attachments and found the 1875 is the new kid on the block. I liked the 1600 much better--but can't find one any place. The 1875 easily overheats on high and then shuts itself off. This happens almost everytime I dry my hair with it. Unfortunately, the medium setting doesn't give enough heat to properly dry my hair or I'd just keep it on that setting thoughout the drying process.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this Gold N Hot GH3202 1600 Watt Styler Dryer from Amazon. This styler/dryer was a very nice surprise for me. I am not very good at blow drying my hair with a regular blow dryer. I end up with fly away, dry looking hair, that gets flat very quickly. I purchased this dryer, because I could style as I dried my hair, and to my surprise, it did what it said it would do, style my hair. I had none of the fly away hair that looked dry and lifeless. I had nice gentle curls and some height and body to my hair, very similar to setting my hair in rollers and drying it that way. I didn't think this was possible to do, all with one hand. I am very pleased with the product, and would recommend it to anyone out there. The option of two combs or a brush to style your hair, is also a great feature.

Not only can I wash, dry and style my hair in about half the time it used to take, but this does not use as much heat as my hair dryer (never mind really hot irons). I do, from time to time, add a few curls with a spiral iron if I have the time and reason to look a bit more "finished". I will never be without this tool again. It is so easy to use that even someone somewhat "styling challenged" like me can produce a lovely look every day; and my fine, straight hair (shoulder length) needs cutting and is between lengths..........the hot air brush makes it look freshly styled all of the time. The day after a wash, I can use the hot air brush to refresh the look in five minutes. I LOVE IT!
As an aside, I am disabled, and it is hard for me to hold both dryer and brush for styling; I thought this would be a compromise and that I would not like it as well; I was so wrong-it is superior to any other way I have tried to do my hair and makes life SO much easier!

(More customer reviews)My sister and I LOVE this. We both have fine, thin, straight, shoulder length hair and it works great for us, It does not tangle my hair. It gives it a nice smooth finish. It adds volume and body. It makes "curves" not curls.If I wanted a distinct curl I would use a curling iron. This is the closest result I can get to a stylist blow drying my hair with a brush. Besides, it's great for travel because you only have to pack one thing as opposed to hair dryer and curling iron. It is cool to the touch and can be immediately put away.
