(More customer reviews)I have used a lot of self-tanning sprays and creams. This one seems to be the best. The most anti-orange color yet. Very delicious smell (like coconut rum). Also sprays upside down! Only thing to mention is that the stuff goes on fairly clear so be careful to not spray the same spot too much. I usually apply it with gloves on till my skin looks wet then rub it in, then remove the gloves and spray the backs of the hands. Also, you need to EXFOLIATE before applying!!! I can't stress that enough! I apply as such with great success: 30 min before bed scrub skin with hot water and an exfoliating brush or body scrubber, apply spray, let dry, shower in the morning and then use a moisturizing lotion before getting dressed to help maintain color.

(More customer reviews)This product is amazing! I've had a lot of comments about my tan...everyone thinks it's real! I don't tan at all, so products like these save me from being pasty. It's the best sunless tanner out there. It can be applied fast and with ease, doesn't streak, dries quickly, isn't sticky, and the original smell is good. Eventually, it does turn to the classic sunless tanner smell, but it's not very strong at all and doesn't last long. This product does, however, need a few coats to get good color but after a few coats, it is wonderful!

(More customer reviews)The new version "ProPerfect Airbrush" is awful. It absolutely does NOT dry not even with a blow dryer. After 1 hour, one would expect the product to dry but given that it's a dry oil spray - it just doesn't. Bring back the old version which dries in about 30 minutes. Both are scented the same. I think the ProPefect does not wear as well or last as long as the original.

(More customer reviews)I am very fair skinned and have been using self tanning lotions, mousses etc. for years only to come up with marginal results. I purchased this system expecting that I would probably use it for the summer and at the end of the season put it in the closet to be replaced by the next "great" advancement in self tanning.
I am pleased to say this will not be the case with this system because I absolutely love it!!! My friend (who is also very fair skinned) and I sprayed one another top to bottom and we patiently waited until morning to see the results. We were both delighted! We were prepared for orange, blotchy or streaky color and what we got was a smooth, even, natural looking tan!! The tan lasts for several (5-7) days and is super easy to apply. I do however suggest getting a friend to spray your back as it is a little difficult to reach by yourself.
I cannot speak for how this product will work for someone who is already somewhat tan or has a darker complection, but if you are fair skinned I think you will love this system as much as Marilyn and I do!
By the way, the smell is TERRIFIC! Rather than a self tanner smell, this system's solution smells like a day on a tropical beach!

I have tried everything including sclerotherapy (saline solution injected into veins) and nothing worked. I saw this in the drugstore and thought I might as well give it a try. The only color that I have tried is the tan glow. I have very fair skin with freckles. The tan glow looks great on my legs in the summer. It was not too dark or orange for my skin tone. It just looks like I have a little color and my spider veins are covered so well that I finally feel like I can wear shorts and not be self conscious. I'm so glad that someone has come out with a product like this, I don't know what I would do without it!!!!

If you spray on too much tanner, you can wipe or sponge it to even it out. It looks natural and lasts longer than most self-tanners - and I have used most of the self-tanners out there.

(More customer reviews)At first I did as the directions said and did not rub it in - BIG MISTAKE! However, the color was nice and it lasted through my workouts and showering after about 4 hrs of using it. So, I tried again, instead, I blended it. This seemed to work. I've mastered a routine of how to get the best results. I spray my arms first, rub it in, wash my hands. Then I do my chest and torso area, rub it in, wash my hands. I continue this doing my legs from the knees down and then from the knees up. I did find that I was coughing after I did this, so I bought those face masks that doctors use and it seems to help. By the way, the smell is quite pleasant. From someone who has tried several alternatives, I'd definitely recommend this product (but make sure to rub in!).

(More customer reviews)I normally don't review products, but this one is so truely awful that I feel I must save the world! One star is being WAY to generous.
I am on Italian descent so I tan easily and very prettily. HOWEVER, I also understand what the sun can do and chose not to sunbake in my backyard. I decided to "test" this product for my upcoming nuptuals.
Number one: Remember QT from the 70's and 80's? This product is HIGHLY comparable to the fake, radioactive orange color.
Number two: The smell....dirty socks mixed 'n moonshine.
Number three: Streaky and blotchy...I did what I was supposed to....exfoliated, moisturized the tempermental parts and STILL ended up with streaks. I look like a piece of Fruit Stripe gum.
I'm hoping it doesn't last the full 14 days, but since I only applied it on my calves once, and a lot seemed to come off after an exfoliating shower this morning, I'm hoping it's a myth and in the next 3 or 4 days I'll be good to go (not glow) as the blushing bride, not the nuclear fallout bride!
STAY AWAY! Jergen's Express Glow is a much better, easier to use, easier to control product that provides a natural looking tan! GlowFusion is neither worth the hype nor the price and I am embarrassed for the folks at Nordstrom who raved of its benefits! No wonder you can't even buy it on their website anymore!
BUYER BEWARE!!!! Be afraid...very afraid.

Fake Bake Instant Self-Tanning Spray Air Brush Self Tanning Products Review

(More customer reviews)This Product is the the best Airbrush/Spraytan product I have ever used. I have gotten spraytaned in a booths, it Either Streaks, Leaves Blotches and Dark spots, Or turns Orange. When I get spraytanned in a booth, It only lasts until you take a shower, and its $30 for only one time. Fake Bake cost me $16.99 for 5 or more uses. And I know that if I miss an area, I can go back over it. Dries quick! And lasts for days. Here are some tips for you.
1) Shower well 1 hour before applying application.
2) Make sure body is dry and hair is dry, and you have no lotion on.
3) Spray Fake Bake over legs first, 1 FT. away from skin in circular motions ( if need be, massage area in )
4) After legs are done, spray on stomach and chest area and back in circular motions.
5) After those areas are done, spray on arms and hands(not palms) in circular motions.
6) The last thing to spray is your face and neck in circular motions.
7) Use blowdryer on cool and blow dry all areas.
8) For best results, use at least one hour before bed time and when you wake up go in the shower and rinse all of the extra spraytan off, use a moisturising body wash( Dove is the best )
*TIPS* I recommend not using a sponge or towel to do face due to blotches. Also do not spray directly on areas because you will be TO DARK! To see when your tan is fading, place a sticker on your upper arm before using Fake Bake and than apply. Remember! This will not turn orange, you will be light bronze with a nice looking light brown tan. If another coat is needed, let first coat dry. And don't forget to spray in the shower.

(More customer reviews)Well, I found this product in a salon, and after a impressive demonstration on my own face, I could not be any more pleased. As a person with extremely fair skin which will burn but NEVER tans, this is a delightful product. As recommended, exfoliate before use, don't get wet for four hours (it will spot, if you do) and use it in the bathroom for easy clean up. It does not turn orange! I also get breakouts, and I'll wait to see if it causes any additional problems there, even though the bottle says it's non-comedogenic.
Have fun, and enjoy your gorgeous glow!

The "faux tan" is almost better than natural - it doesn't have an orange-y color, the lotion smells wonderful and there are no streaks left behind. It's tinted to help with even application. I really like the bare escentuals line anyway so I wasn't afraid to try another product from them. Well worth the money.
