(More customer reviews)I got this because the hair brush I use with red plastic tips on its sparse bristles collects lint balls at the base which cannot be removed--they are hard to get to and won't go over the red tips. (I even found a thread on some forum devoted to this topic ;^) Some women were applying Elmer's glue to the lint balls to make them peel up-off after the glue had dried.) So, I tossed the prior brush, got a new one, and got this cleaner. The wider end works great to loosen hair and lint balls. Now I keep up with cleaning it more often and rinsing it off in hot water every few days. Works like a charm.
