Quantum Clarifying Shampoo 1 Liter / 33.8 Oz Review

(More customer reviews)This is a wonderful value; one bottle lasts for several months. I use lots of product in my hair and the shampoo gets it all out with the first washing. It's not harsh and doesn't dry out the hair like some clarifiers can do either.

Tweezerman Deluxe Nose Hair Trimmer Review

(More customer reviews)I steered towards the tweezerman line of products because their product photos portray a high level of craftsmanship.
The reality, I'm afraid, doesn't live up to expectations.
The nose hair trimmer, for example, isn't weighted properly, so it just floats in your hands... and the mechanism which rotates the inner blade isn't lubricated very well -- so it moves in a hurky-jerky fashion. Which is more than a little disconcerting.
I also find that you have to position it "just so" to clip anything at all.
I should have just purchased a pair of bull-nose scissors.

Hot Tools Professional Turbo Dryer Model 1069 Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my wife who gets up very early for work while everyone else is still sleeping. We were seeking a solution for the annoying and piercing "screaming" of her hair dryer at 4:30AM, and this turned up in a search for "super quiet" hair dryers. Well, this unit does offer some nice improvements in both speed and temperature selections as well as a momentary "cool" button. But although it is perhaps a little lower in the tone or frequency of its sound, the total noise produced by it is only nominally different from the much cheaper unit it replaced. We don't sense that it puts out more air or heat than the much less expensive one we had, but it came with some interesting styling attachments to make it appear more like a pro unit. It also features a detachable lint filter at the intake which may be worth something down the road as that clogs. Our 12 year old son did think it was "cool" though -- whatever that may be worth.

Merkur Futur Style Safety Razor Chrome Finish with Adjustable Blade Angle Review

(More customer reviews)As my whiskers starting coming in grey the disposable razors I had been using for 20+ years would no longer give me a clean save. In fact, it wasn't even close; I looked like I hadn't bothered to shave.
It's puzzling that anyone would manufacture a product with a slippery, smooth handle that is used only in hot water and soapy conditions. I took my Dremels stone wheel and roughed up the handle, now the razor is perfect. It produces the best shaves I've ever had.

(More customer reviews)The product is made in China, which is a bit disappointing, considering the price. The overall look is nice and we like that the soap dish is built in. The razor only fits an older style blade and the blade constantly slides off it. After a few months the brush started to fall apart - we will need a new one in less than a year.

(More customer reviews)I have been using this hair dryer for about 9 months, in winter on a daily basis and summertime almost daily. It is compact, light, fast, and fairly quiet. It also seems to be less damaging than the other dryers I have tried. My only issue is the buttons are at an awkward angle, and even after nine months (and 15 years of regular hairdryer use) I am still hitting the temperature button accidentally. I read that this was a problem on different websites before I bought it and unfortunately ignored the reviews. Another word of warning for those of you with straight, thin hair, as I have...this hair dryer will not add any volume! On the contrary, it tends to flatten my hair more than it is, naturally. I think it would be better suited to those with naturally thick and wavy/curly hair that like to blowdry it straight...it leaves a smooth and shiny finish.

I used it on my wet hair right after i took a shower and it still worked! Also, I was really impressed at how straight my hair was even from the rain. Ladies, don't fall for the other brands- they're all imitations!

I bought the Sonicare toothbrush years ago with great results on my dental exams, so a sonic cleansing system for my skin sounded worth investigating. I was intrigued by all the positive reviews of the Clarisonic Mia. I have sensitive skin, and I'm not exactly a 20-something year old anymore...or 30, or 40, or 50; I have to stop here before I give my age away! This little Mia has changed my skin for the better. I can't believe after a few weeks it has smoothed my skin so beautifully! I follow the instructions that came with it, and don't overdo the time limit it suggests. There were always tiny little bumps around my lips and under my eyes that never went away. Not really obvious, but a bother to me. Well, the Mia has really made them go away! Exfoliating to me has always been associated with harsh abrasives, or acids. But in a few weeks the Mia has done a better job, with no irritation, than any other method I have used. I think everyone should have one, it is that good! It is a bit pricey but it is so worth it. It comes with the sensitive skin brush and a tube of cleanser. I prefer to use my Basis soap as it is so mild. I also purchased the Delicate skin brush. That is what I am using now although the sensitive brush gave me no problems, I just wanted the option of two brushes. I use it on my neck and sometimes on the backs of my hands. Smooth skin is wonderful! My moisturizer sinks in and is really working better now. I highly recommend this cute little Mia for everyone!

(More customer reviews)I got this hairdryer to "replace" my T3 Tourmaline dryer that I have to return on warranty. I needed a hairdryer to use in the meantime and had heard good things about this one from my hairdresser. I LOVE IT! It beats the T3 in my opinion. My hair dries very fast but without frizziness. It keeps my hair shiny and smooth (which is a feat with my hair with my natural curl/wave and all the swimming I do). I have nothing bad to say about it. The cord is long and sturdy and doesn't get nearly as permanently twisted as others I've had. The extras that come with the dryer (brush and clips) aren't great, so I could do without those and will probably get rid of them soon to stop them littering up my bathroom. If you can get the dryer cheaper without the extras, do that.

This is a detailer, allowing you to take very small sections of hair to straighten very close to the root. For the rest of your hair, a standard size iron is required. (Unless you have a short style). There is no temperature control, however I believe this is 400 Watts and is just right.

I even called back the check out clerk at Lowe's to tell her how well it worked (she asked me to let her know if it worked as advertised).
To Pacific: Like the other reviewers, I don't know what your problem was with the product but it really worked as advertised for me following the directions to the letter. GREAT product!
