(More customer reviews)My 7 month old daughter had some persistent cradle cap that we were struggling to get rid of. First, we tried simply combing with a small comb during her shampoo. When that didn't work, we tried baby oil. When that didn't work, we tried aquaphor. And when that didn't work, I bought this Gentle Naturals Treatment. Finally, something that worked!! Yes, it doesn't smell the best (although I don't think the smell is awful) but I will take a few days of "off" smelling hair in exchange for a clean scalp.
We didn't have any problems with it leaving our daughters hair or scalp greasy. I used a small amount with water in the tub and washed it out with a washcloth & water. Perhaps people who had problems have kids with more hair or used too much product?? Either way, getting rid of cradle cap often involves a few days of greasy hair -- using baby oil is the traditional way to get rid of it and that stuff will leave you greasy for sure! I was glad to find this less-greasy alternative that works much better!
