After use, wipe the manual or electric toothbrush to remove all moisture or shake it vigorously, put the DRY toothbursh into this IZAP UV Toothbrush Sanitizer, close the case door which automatically turns on the 'killer ultra-violet light bulb', and the job of killing e. coli, salmonella, strep, lysteria, pseudomonas, and other unspecified germs is done in only 6 minutes. Then the bulb automatically turns off. The container also functions as a closed toothbrush storage area for one toothbrush. BTW the case comes with one nice toothbrush with medium soft bristles. Great idea for home or on the road! Requires 2 AAA batteries which are not included; the UV bulb is included and rated at 8000 hours, 90 day warranty. This unit remains the simplest, sleekest, most mobile, and the most preferred of my two toothbrush cleaners. My Highest Recommendation. Five HEALTHY Stars.
***UPDATE: the bulb ceased lighting after 120 days but I'll take the blame because it WAS due to excessive moisture which caused one of the battery terminals to rust-the one which can't be seen unless you remove the three phillips screws on the back. I cleaned the terminals, put in new batteries, and the UV bulb ignited: the new batteries lasted about 6 months, but your mileage may vary. Just remember to wipe your toothbrush dry before inserting it. This unit gets My Highest Recommendation !!! ***

(More customer reviews)I originally bought this dryer for my mother who was using an ancient hair dryer that barely blew air. I decided that I needed to test it out first. Well, I loved it so much that I kept it for myself. It cut my drying time in half. I love how even the hottest air from the dryer seems cool compared to my old hair dryer. Also, I decided to get this for my best friend for Christmas. She has long, thick hair. She emailed me after two days of use and said (rather melodramatically) that the hair dryer had changed her life! She said that it cut her blowing time in half. She has mentioned it two other times since Christmas so she is very impressed and thrilled with the product. The only negative is that it is very heavy compared to my previous dryer. It took me a couple weeks to get used to it but now my arm doesn't remember the difference. I bought another one for my mother who likes it but said that it was drying her hair so quickly that she has to use the diffuser attachment so she has time to strategically style her hair with a brush before it is dry. We all highly recommend this product. Great value for the money.

(More customer reviews)Ok, I read the other reviews about bad shipping, well, I didn't actually buy this from amazon, so I have nothing to say there. As far as the product goes, I like it. My toilet never seems to get particularly gross, but it cleans it well. I notice that I get some black stuff (mold?) under the rim especialy, and it gets rid of all of that gunk, plus removes hard water stains pretty well. My mom uses this too, but she says she doesn't care for it (her toilet gets very gross, though.) I like the fact that it doesn't have a harsh chemical smell. In fact, it smells quite pleasent. So, overall, I would say that if that for normal toilet cleaning, this is great. I would consider something else for extra- nasty toilets.

Philips Sonicare E-Series Replacement Brush Head Review

(More customer reviews)My best friend has been raving about his Sonicare Elite for over a year now-- encouraging me to try it. I did a little research and saw that OralB had a similar product and wondered which had a better product-- Sonicare or Oral B. My friend finally convinced me that the Sonicare product is superior, and then I read a review on Amazon from a hygenist who said that she went to a continuing education seminar and learned that Oral B was found to be superior...
At that point, I decided to do some research. I found a Northwestern University study conducted over a 6 month period. Patients with the Sonicare did much better, but don't take my word for it. Read the study results for yourself on the National Institute of Health web site:

"Overall, this study demonstrates that long-term use of these two electric toothbrushes improves periodontal health in adult periodontitis patients, and that the Sonicare brush is superior to the Braun [Oral B] brush in reducing gingival inflammation and probing depth. Moreover, 6 months' use of Sonicare led to actual improvement in probing attachment levels of periodontal pockets."
