This package is great because it offers a variety of sizes AND these pins are much stronger than the whimpy ones you find at the drug/grocery store. I still don't think that they are as good as the 3" pins that Goody sold years ago. But I haven't been able to find those. So if you are a dancer and need to find good hair pins, these will work fine and they wont cost you an "arm and a leg".
